The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One™ Team” Watch IW388108 is crafted from lightweight and exceptionally strong grade 5 titanium. Titanium is the metal with the highest strength-to-density ratio and is widely used in automotive parts manufacturing, such as engine valves, for its ability to withstand high pressure and its excellent corrosion resistance properties. The titanium surface is machined and sandblasted for a light grey sheen. The black dial is matched with the team's iconic green hour markers and luminous elements, and the overall design is full of team momentum. The watch is equipped with the IWC-made 69385 chronograph movement, which is composed of 231 parts, adopts a classic column wheel design, and the two-way pawl winding system can accumulate 46 hours of power reserve. The engineering beauty of the movement can be admired through the transparent sapphire glass case back.

This chronograph comes with two different straps: a black printed calfskin strap and a “Petronas Green” rubber strap, both functional and styled through the EasX-CHANGE® watch Free switching with quick-change system to create an "all-around" sports timepiece.
